Chris Horak

Chris has been playing/composing for over 50 years. A Munich native, he is a self-taught guitar and bass player. He draws inspiration from the revolutionary Jazz-Rock Fusion movement of the 70's and 80's.

Key influences to Chris' compositions and style of play come from artists like Al DiMeola, John McLaughlin, and Larry Carlton, as well as from the harmonic and rhythmic concepts of Herbie Hancock and Chick Corea, Pat Metheny, as well as Claus Ogerman and Steely Dan.

Christoph Hausner

Christoph began early to develop a strong passion for music, initially being drawn mostly to mainstream Pop and Rock genres. During his university years, he started to discover the curious world of Jazz, Funk and Fusion, and since then, meticulously crafted grooves, adventurous harmonies and abundant improvisation take a special place in his heart.

He draws musical inspiration and ideas from pop music, 70's Progressive Rock, and lately, Japanese Fusion and City Pop.

Drums

Ondrej Zadak

Ondrej graduated from the Richard Strauss Conservatory in 2004 with a degree in jazz drums. He has played in various jazz, fusion, funk and blues bands.

One of these was the big band at the Munich University of Applied Sciences under the direction of Bastian Pusch. This was followed by collaborations with the St. Lukas gospel choir and the comedy duo "Senkrecht und Pusch". In the Latin/jazz/funk band Grupo Abanico, he interpreted music with Afro-Cuban influences. He also studied privately with jazz legend Gregory Hutchinson and worked on his jazz skills.

His playing style is strongly influenced by players such as Steve Gadd, Brian Blade and Chris Dave.

Bass

Philipp Metzler

Philipp has been playing bass since the mid-90s with a background in Punk, Grunge, and Prog-Rock bands.

Influenced by modern Electronic Dance/House music and 70s Funk/Soul/Jazz, he focuses on rhythm and groove to create a solid foundation for the band's music.
